Memco

A tricky product to work with... Although they are everywhere no one has ever heard of them or sees them. Memcos' main product line are 6 foot black plastic strips that live on the edge of lift doors and are there to prevent the door closing on you. So how do you shoot a product that is functional and not meant to be seen?

The original brief was for some "sexy product shots" of their range to print as posters  for use in their offices and to send out to clients. I', really happy with the results of that shoot.

The second brief was a location shoot to show their new range in use. the only part of that product you could see was coloured LEDs that let you know when its safe to enter the lift or when not to.

This shoot had to be multi purpose so consumer focused as well as for corporate use. While only having the one location available at the time to shoot.
